Hi I’m interested in getting eye lash extensions, but how many eyelashes are applied to each eye in curious?

    • sara
      Posted January 26, 2012 at 11:19 am | Permalink

      Hi Amanda,

The amount of lashes applied to each eye depends on how full the guests lashes are. We usually try to apply 1 extension to each natural lash. Most guests receive approximately 30 lashes per eye.

Thanks very much for the question! Maybe we’ll see you soon.

I got my eyelashes permed last weekend, and I was wondering if you have any kind of satisfaction guarentee? I have had my lashes permed 3 times prior, and they have looked great every time! But this time it looks like the perm solution may have been left on too long, and damaged my lashes.

      Hi Tina,

I’m very sorry your lash perm did not turn out the way you would have liked! Would you mind telling me which location you visited for your service? I would really like to make this better! Thank you so much for letting us know!

    Hey guys,

I’m coming in for my first bikini wax and I just had a few questions. Like how long should things be down there before hand? And what’s your policy on double dipping?

    Thanks

    Terra!

    • sara
      Posted March 2, 2012 at 2:59 pm | Permalink

      Hey Terra,

Great questions. We ask that you grow your hair out to approximately 1/4 of an inch for the best waxing results. We do not double dip. I hope that helps! Our estheticians will make you feel so comfortable! Enjoy your visit.

    hi,

      Posted March 8, 2012 at 10:44 am | Permalink

      Hi Heather,

That’s great! Which location were you thinking of having your birthday party at? We have a a few options for birthday parties.

Eccotique offers Junior Manicures at $15/person + tax so for 11 girls it would be $165 + tax.
We could also do Junior Pedicures at $22/person + tax which would be $242 + tax for the group.
Or if you’d like you could do a Junior Mani-Pedi Combo at $37/person + tax or $407 + tax for the group.

Most of our locations have a large Mani-Pedi room so you and your friends would get the whole room to yourselves. You are welcome to bring food, drinks, decorations, gifts or anything else you’d like into the Mani-Pedi room. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hi, I’m thinking of getting your pedi special ($39.99) but would like to have this done in shellac. Have had this done in the past & luv the shellac feature. I see that it is “coming soon”. Do you have this available in March & how much?

      Hi Sally,

We are so happy that Eccotique has Shellac. Isn’t it great! We do have the Shellac in however we have not yet received the appropriate pedicure lamps. We are expecting them to arrive within the next couple of weeks. I apologize for the delay. Our Shellac pedicure special will be $70.00. I will let you know as soon as the lamps arrive. Thanks very much and looking forward to seeing you.

Hi, im coming in to get my hair dyed, but i don’t know if i should get it cut at my other salon first.
How much would it be to dye it first with you guys, because it is a couple inches longer then if it was cut first. Thanks!

      Hi Elizabeth,

Unfortunately, we don’t have any Reflexologists on staff. It could definitely be a possibility in the future. Thanks for the question!

      Posted March 16, 2012 at 10:44 am | Permalink

      Hi there,

If your hair is only a couple inches longer it won’t make any difference in price. The only time the price would change is if you were changing your style from long to short. So don’t worry about getting it cut first. Thanks so much!

hey, how much does it cost to get your roots touched up? And i got my hair done by you guys the first time. Thanks!

    • sara
      Posted March 16, 2012 at 10:41 am | Permalink

      Hi Ashlyn,

Hmm that’s a tough one. It really depends on your hair. The prices vary based on the type of service you received last time (colour, highlights, lowlights). I would suggest calling the salon and speaking with your stylist. She can definitely price it out for you. I hope that helps. Thanks for the question.

I was just wondering if you had any “package” deals for the Pain Free Hair Free laser hair removal? I wanted to come in for a brazilian but was wondering if I prepaid for so many sessions, do I get any discount?
Also, how many sessions does it normally take to be complete?
    Thanks!

    • sara
      Posted March 21, 2012 at 12:39 pm | Permalink

      Hi Tara,

Good question! It usually takes 6 sessions to remove unwanted hair although it varies by person. If you pre-pay for a package of 6 treatments you will receive 10% OFF. Also, Eccotique offers free laser consultations. If you’re nervous at all you’re welcome to come in and test a little patch on your arm for free. Looking forward to seeing you!

      Cheers

Hi there, do you do a couples massages – specifically for just the back massage? My hubby is a little gun-shy about the whole ‘spa’ idea, so I thought I’d try and ease him into it by getting a couples back massage.

    thanks,
    Jacquie

    • sara
      Posted March 26, 2012 at 10:03 am | Permalink

      Hi Jacquie,

We sure do! A relaxation back massage for 2 in our couple’s room is $45 per person plus tax. If you’d prefer Registered Massage Therapy, the prices vary based on the number of minutes. A couples massage should be the perfect way to ease him in! Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the reply. I phoned the number yesterday and they were unable to track the gift card with no receipt, but it was a gift from my Mom and she no longer has the receipt. Is there anyone else I could possibly speak to? Thanks! My moms name and my own name were on the gift card. And her name would be in the payment records as she paid for it with mastercard (she thinks it was her Canadian Tire credit card).
        :)

      Hi there,

Great questions! We ask that you shave your hair prior to your first laser hair removal treatment. It is a good idea to book your laser appointment in advance to ensure that one of our laser technicians is available. We also offer complimentary laser consulatations in case you have anymore questions or wish to meet your technician prior to the service. Thanks!

    Hi there,
I was wondering are there any deals in regarding waxing? I want to do a full leg and full arm one.

    • Posted May 4, 2012 at 2:13 pm | Permalink

Hi Mandy, We do not have any promotions on our waxing services currently. We do however offer the Spa Me Up package where if you combine three or more spa treatments you will receive a 15% discount on them. This might be a great option for you if you wanted to add in 1 more treatment.

You should make your gift certificates available through email for last minute purchases! I’m from Australia and was hunting down gift certificates for my mum who lives in Burnaby. I would’ve purchased from you but you do not have e-gift cards that can be sent to her immediately after purchase.

Thank you Candice for your great suggestion.

hi, i was looking for prices on manicures and pedicures for a mothers day gift and i didn’t see any prices on the website. could i have a list on the different types you guys do as well as the prices?

    • Posted May 8, 2012 at 1:33 pm | Permalink

Hi Chrystal. I’m happy to hear you are considering treating your mom to a spa service. She is sure to love it. All the manicure and pedicure prices are listed under this link.
      http://eccotique.com/services/spa/
Scroll down the website to view them under the Hand and Foot heading along the left side. You can then purchase your gift card online to make things even easier. Find the gift card link along the left side of the main site. If you are still on the spa service page, simply click on the website banner along the top and it will take you back to the main page. Then you can scroll down to find the GIFT CARD link along the left.

    Hi,
I have been plucking and trimming my own eyebrows for months and now they are uneven. I was wondering if eccotique could get my eyebrows better looking and EVEN.

Should I just wait for my eyebrows to grow back and THEN get them done by eccotique or should I just go and get them done instantly?

    • Posted May 15, 2012 at 12:12 pm | Permalink

I would recommend booking in for a consultation regarding the evenness of your eyebrows. This is the only way our estheticians can properly see your eyebrows, discuss what your goal is, and then decide what would be the best solution for you.

    Posted May 13, 2012 at 3:57 pm | Permalink

How are the eyebrows done? Are they plucked, threaded, shaved, or waxed? Because I prefer them plucked.
And also, would they mind if I put some lukewarm water on my eyebrows before they pluck? Because it is much less painful that way.

    Thanks
    Monique

    • Posted May 15, 2012 at 12:09 pm | Permalink

Hello Monique. To answer your question, we wax, but we can pluck if you prefer. We always want to make sure that each guest is comfortable and as pain free as possible, so we can absolutely provide lukewarm water during your service. Please just make sure to ask your service provided.

    Hi

Have you ever considered offering energy healing at Ecotique, eg Reiki, crystal therapy etc? These types of healing modalities work on the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional levels of being, bringing balance by removing energy blocks in one’s system and leading to inner peace. It just seems like such a gap in what you offer. I am a Reiki Practitioner and have thought this for a while, but this is the first time I have looked on your website and found this way of contacting you!! Just thought I’d ask.
